Carrie Mills Miller, CFRE, is Director of Philanthropy, where she works with individuals and families to align their resources with their values through thoughtful, purpose‑driven giving strategies.
With 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and philanthropic development, Carrie has led transformational fundraising initiatives at VCU Health and the University of Florida, securing some of the largest gifts in institutional history. Her expertise includes complex and planned giving strategies, multigenerational donor engagement, and high‑impact charitable planning.
Carrie holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in Communications from Appalachian State University. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and is actively involved in civic and professional organizations, including the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the National Society of the Colonial Dames, and the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Executive Leadership Team.
She is passionate about helping donors build enduring legacies through generosity that is both strategic and deeply personal. Carrie lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband and young son.
