Lisa Resch serves as Director of Development for Sheltering Arms Foundation, where she has dedicated over 12 years to advancing the organization’s mission. Sheltering Arms is a 137-year-old nonprofit that provides advanced physical rehabilitation to inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services that combine leading medical technologies with compassionate, expert care to help individuals regain mobility and independence following an illness or injury.
Lisa’s passion for her work is fueled by witnessing, each day, the transformative impact Sheltering Arms has on patients and families as they learn to navigate and embrace a new normal. She is deeply committed to ensuring that all individuals—regardless of financial circumstances—have access to high-quality care and innovative programs that strengthen the health and well-being of the community.
With more than 25 years of experience in fundraising, Lisa brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Prior to joining Sheltering Arms, she served as Director of Operations and Advancement Services for the Bon Secours Richmond Foundation and as Director of Research and Prospect Management at Hampden-Sydney College.
