About me
Mary Crosby serves as Senior Director of Development at ForKids, where she leads the strategic direction of the organization’s $5 million annual fund. In this role, she oversees comprehensive fundraising initiatives that deepen donor engagement, strengthen partnerships, and expand ForKids’ impact on families experiencing homelessness throughout Hampton Roads.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, Virginia, Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Virginia Wesleyan University and a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University. She is also a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of professional practice in philanthropy.
Beyond her professional work, Mary is a Chesapeake Master Gardener and enjoys reading, watercolor painting, and spending time with her husband, Adam, with whom she recently celebrated 20 years of marriage.
