About me
Niki is a former Director of Development and Grants Specialist who understands the entire fundraising life cycle. Over her career, she has won grants from 12 US government agencies and hundreds of grantmaking entities. Her consulting business focuses on All Things Grants, Services for Grantmakers, and Impact Communications. She specializes in affordable housing, after-school programs, the arts, foster care, health, homeless services, mental health, resident services, and poverty relief. She is a volunteer grant reviewer for several foundations in the DC metro area.
Raised in Wisconsin and Illinois, Niki has lived overseas in Ecuador, Syria, and Honduras. She speaks native English, Spanish, and some Arabic. She and her husband of 31 years live in Alexandria, Virginia.
