Rachael Schrinel is President and CEO of Make‑A‑Wish® Greater Virginia, where she leads the organization’s mission to bring hope, strength, and joy to children with critical illnesses and their families across the Commonwealth. A respected nonprofit executive, Rachael is known for her compassionate leadership, strategic vision, and deep commitment to mission‑driven impact.
Rachael brings extensive experience in philanthropy and organizational leadership, having previously served in senior development roles with ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas, and the American Heart Association. Across these organizations, she has led comprehensive fundraising strategies, built high‑performing teams, and strengthened community partnerships in support of children, families, and life‑changing causes.
