I'm Sheela Mahajan, founder of the Nonprofit Science Institute and host of the Nonprofit Science Podcast. I started out as a researcher, in neurobiology and public health, before finding my way into the nonprofit sector through AmeriCorps.
These days I spend my time digging up the latest academic research on what works in nonprofits, the studies locked in journals nobody has time to read, and I translate it into something practitioners can use.
