Kathleen Guzman is the Development Coordinator at The Up Center, where she supports fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, and development operations to help strengthen services for children, families, and individuals across Hampton Roads. She brings a diverse background in nonprofit development, marketing, operations, education, and corporate training. A former marketing manager and business educator, Kathleen combines strategic thinking with a passion for building relationships and connecting people to meaningful causes. Before joining The Up Center, she led marketing and communications initiatives, managed data-driven projects, and developed programs that improved engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Outside of work, Kathleen is a proud mom of five. Her experiences as both a parent and former teacher have shaped her commitment to supporting families and strengthening communities through collaboration and service.
