About me
Marissa is a passionate development professional with deep roots in activism, civic engagement, and volunteering. Her extensive experience spans community-based and conservation-focused organizations, where she has honed her expertise in strategic planning, donor engagement, program management, and event coordination. A native New Orleanian she relocated to Charlottesville in 2022, and joined the Camp Holiday Trails team in 2025. Marissa loves music, crafting, “playing” the trumpet, yoga, and traveling with her son and husband. She’s also always interested in a good book recommendation!
